1. Discover the different museums. There are many different museums just minutes away from the Costa Serena neighborhood.

If you are a surf fanatic, you’ll love California Surf Museum. Located at  Pier View Way, approximately 10 minutes away from Costa Serena, this museum is a great place to hang out and explore. There are surfboards, surf art, surf equipment, pictures, videos, magazines, and more.

If you love the arts, creativity, and vibrant colors, you’ll have a great time at the  Muramid Mural Museum and Art Center.

Breakwater Way - When you want some quiet or to watch surfers and volleyball players, Breakwater Way is the beach to go to.

Pier View North - As the name implies, this beach is located north of Oceanside Pier. Less crowded than its southern counterpart, Pier View North is perfect for swimming, but you have to watch out because there are only designated areas for swimming and surfing. There are also public restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and grills, which makes this beach perfect for picnics.

Pier View South - This sandy beach on the southside of Oceanside's Pier is a crowd favorite, especially during the summer. It is the most popular beach in Oceanside and is located really close to the downtown area.

Tyson Street Beach - When you want a change, visit the rocky Tyson Street Beach. It is a great beach for picnics, but you should note that surfing is not allowed on this beach. Tyson Beach is a magnet for photographers because the view from this beach is amazing.

Wisconsin Street Beach - How about visiting a beach that only appears during low tide? Wisconsin Street Beach is a narrow, sandy beach that only opens up when the tide is low.
